During execution of commands from scripts, it is often useful to expand
system variables into their values. This allows parameters to be passed to
commands which would otherwise not perform this expansion. The
Do command causes this expansion (and other GSTrans-like
expansions) to be performed.
*Do
<command>
<command> | - | Command to execute |
This command is used to execute commands after they have been passed through the GSTrans routines. This will cause system variables, and escaped characters to be expanded to their values. Usually this is used to run commands using values of system variables, rather than the variables themselves.
*Do IfConfig -e eh0 ip
