Description
-----------

This program sits on the iconbar and provides two indicators to show
incoming and outgoing network traffic via the IP protocol.

This program is freeware. Copy as you wish, but please always include this
help file and all copyright messages.

Use
---

You might like to have the application run at startup. Use the !Boot
configuration tool and then click the Boot->Run icons to have this
application run at startup. Alternatively, place the application in your
!Boot.Choices.Boot.Tasks directory.

You may alter the icons inside !NetLights (found in the "Sprites"
spritefile) to suit your needs. Please send any decent icons my way. ;o)
The icons in "Sprites" were designed by Justin Fletcher (see below) and the
icons in "Sprites2" are the original ones supplied with this program.

Tested on...
------------

  * Kinetic RiscPC, RISC OS 4.03
  * Kinetic RiscPC, RISC OS 4.33
  * StrongARM RiscPC, RISC OS 4.34
  * Iyonix PC, RISC OS 5.02

Bugs
----

There are no known bugs.

Future versions
---------------

I hope to release a later version soon that will pop up various information
on the networking traffic, such as bytes sent and received and the currently
bound IP address if DHCP is being used. I will also have a preset to adjust
the rate of updates.

Thanks
------

Thanks to Chris Williams and Justin Fletcher for a peek inside their
!SockStats application so I could see how to use the undocumented
Socket_InternalLookup SWI. Thanks also to Justin Fletcher for his great
indicator icons, which are far better than mine!

Disclaimer
----------

I will not be held responsible for damage caused through use or misuse of
this program.
